Here's another one of those interesting, challenging questions we get here at High 5 -- the kind that makes us as a staff dig a little deeper into our knowledge base.

The question, posted to Jim and me, was: Is it a sound practice to hire someone to work on your challenge course who has substantial experience from work at other organizations, but no professional training outside of those organizations?

Our responses were interesting in that they had a similar undercurrent, but a different perspective. Think about how you would answer, and then read on for our answers and rationale behind our thoughts.
