The City of Quincy has commissioned High 5 Adventure Learning Center to build a Challenge Course at Mound Street Beach located at 60 Mound Street, Quincy MA 02169.
What is a Challenge Course?
A challenge course functions as a tool for outdoor education that requires groups to accomplish interconnected tasks, navigating the process of success or failure. It features various physical components such as suspended logs, tires, nets, platforms, swinging ropes and climbing walls.

Who's This For?
This project is a facilitated, private course to be used within middle school and high school curricula, as well as programs run by the city’s Recreation Department. The intention is for programs in adventure education team-building that challenge participants both physically and mentally.
What's the Timeline?
Construction is scheduled to begin on August 17, 2026 and continue for at least 5 weeks.
