Reset: Reflection and Community for Mid-Career Educators
Reset: Reflection and Community for Mid-Career Educators
A Professional Learning 2-Part Series
Facilitated by High 5 Adventure Learning Center
Designed for educators who work directly with students, this small-cohort experience unfolds across two full-day retreats grounded in adventure-based learning, facilitated dialogue, and structured reflection.
Educators from the same district explore topics that are universally relevant and often not addressed in Professional Development settings such as:
- Using adventure-based activities to learn how to navigate the unknown in your school setting.
- Learning how a slower pace influences awareness, decision-making, and interactions.
- Building purposeful connections to share support, validation, and differing perspectives.
- Activities that prioritize reflection and personal agency, creating room for your goals, questions, and needs to emerge authentically.
After a recent session wrapped up, 100% of participants* reported feeling less alone in the emotional experiences of being an educator, and 100% felt recharged and renewed after the retreat experience.
“I am grateful for the time and space to connect with my peers. I wish there were more opportunities to have this kind of connecting throughout the year.”
“Thank you for a thoughtfully designed experience that helped me feel connected to myself and my colleagues.”
Educators leave feeling more connected, more grounded, and more empowered — not just with new ideas, but with renewed clarity about who they are and why their work matters.
